- Call for speakers: All registrants are encouraged to give a presentation on an area of their interest. Reports should be approximately 15 minutes and a Computer/pointer/projector is supplied so you can just bring your talk on USB drive or CD. - Smiggins Ski Conference are supporters of Perisher Ski Patrol and Disabled WinterSport Australia.
- Queensland Alpine Sports Medicine is a strong advocate of helmets for snow sports, especially in children. Parents and ski instructors are to be actively encouraged as well as they are powerful role models and personally benefit as well.
